A perfect food supplement for diabetic patients

Starvit Diaforte tablets contain alpha-lipoic acid, chromium and extracts of cinnamon, gymnema sylvestre, fenugreek and grape seeds along with magnesium and zinc, which help to reduce insulin resistance and blood glucose in patients with diabetes and pre-diabetes.

  • Improvement of the glycemic control in diabetic and pre-diabetic patients
  • Decrease of FPG, PPG, and HbA1c and increase of the insulin sensitivity
  • Prevention of diabetes complications, especially diabetic neuropathy
  • Accelerating the healing of diabetic wounds
Nutrition information per 1 tablet
200 mg DL-Alpha Lipoic Acid
100 mg Gymnema Extract
100 mg Cassia Cinnamon
75 mg Fenugreek Extract
75 mg Grape seed Extract
20 mg Magnesium
3 mg Zinc
166 µg Chromium

Gymnema Extract

  • Decrease or delay of carbohydrate digestion and inhibition of glucose absorption.
  • Decrease in desire and intake of high sugar foods.
  • Regeneration of pancreatic β-cells and insulin, and thus increasing the insulin sensitivity.
  • Improvement of glucose metabolism and decreasing FPG (Fasting plasma glucose), PPG (Postprandial glucose) and HbA1c.

Cassia Cinnamon

  • Regulation of insulin signaling pathways and increasing the insulin sensitivity by antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Increasing the glucose uptake in muscle and adipose tissue by GLUT (Glucose transporter) 4 production and translocation.
  • Decreasing the glucose intestinal absorption and reducing FPG, PPG and HOMA-IR level.

Alpha-Lipoic Acid

  • Increase of insulin sensitivity by antioxidant mechanisms.
  • Increase of glucose cellular uptake and subsequently glycolysis.
  • Reduction of FPG, HbA1c, HOMA-IR, triglycerides and LDL cholesterol.
  • Improvement of microcirculation and thus reduction of neuropathic pains.

Grape seed extract

  • An antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent that reduce FPG, TC (Total Cholesterol), LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and CRP levels.
  • Improvement of insulin function by increasing adiponectin plasma concentrations.

Fenugreek

  • Restoration of pancreatic cells by safeguarding β-cells and increase of insulin sensitivity.
  • Prolonging the gastric emptying time and lowering glucose uptake in the small intestine.
  • Reduction of FPG, PPG and HbA1c levels and improvement of the lipid profile.

Chromium

  • Improvement of the insulin sensitivity and glucose utilization.
  • Reducing cravings for carbohydrates.
  • Reduction of FPG, HbA1c levels, and HOMA-IR concentrations.

Magnesium

  • Reduce the fasting and postprandial glucose levels and increase the insulin sensitivity in hypomagnesemic patients.

Zinc

  • Reduction of several key glycemic indicators by zinc supplementation, particularly the FPG.
